As an expressive photographer, I seek to create images that are narrative within their frame. The resulting images are left to the viewer to interpret with the goal being that they turn to the person next to them and say, “Have I told you …?”
As a student of existence, I am subject to events that preceded me. Further, I recognize my dependence upon them - my life is formed by what they left behind. The journeys of exploration I place myself on involve various locations and various emotions. And it is the intersection of these elements that creates narrative content.
This project is an extension of my favorite utilization of photography -- to tell secrets. In this case, the secrets being told are the result of being in a specific place at a specific time. I do not shy away from revealing various elements of my psyche nor do I force or even supply interpretation of individual images.
